Our Mission: Working with rural African communities to create sustainable programs through dialogue, partnerships and education in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
We will achieve this mission by:
Establishing and strengthening community based organizations (CBO) in the communities in which Tamani Africa operates
Providing children with the school fees, uniforms, suppliers and food necessary to attend school uninterrupted, so that they can develop the life skills and gain the knowledge essential for a productive and safe life.
Enhancing locally run HIV/AIDS and related health education programs through the provision of relevant educational materials and community training sessions
Supporting the establishment of HIV/AIDS Voluntary Counseling and Testing centers (VCT) and their related programs.
Strengthening HIV+ and testing support groups through the provision of education, nutritional and financial assistance.
