Working with rural African communities to create sustainable programs through dialogue, partnerships and education in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
We will achieve this mission by:
- Establishing and strengthening community based organizations (CBO) in the communities in which Tamani Africa operates
- Providing children with the school fees, uniforms, suppliers and food necessary to attend school uninterrupted, so that they can develop the life skills and gain the knowledge essential for a productive and safe life.
- Enhancing locally run HIV/AIDS and related health education programs through the provision of relevant educational materials and community training sessions
- Supporting the establishment of HIV/AIDS Voluntary Counseling and Testing centers (VCT) and their related programs.
- Strengthening HIV+ and testing support groups through the provision of education, nutritional and financial assistance.
